Nothing beats watching our guests design their own custom trail through our local neighborhoods to experience the different architectural eras of town. A recent traveler, Doyle, did exactly that by splitting a summer trip between our properties—staying at the Judge Porter House on June 17th before moving into our Queen Anne Bed and breakfast  on June 21st.
Here is what they shared about their journey:
“Had a great time home is awesome host was great and Angela was a great help. We plan to return often to try his other properties. Jackie was great at the Porter house also” — Doyle, TripAdvisor Review
Waking up inside the quiet, book-lined walls of our downstairs Library Room gives you the perfect, restful base camp for a classic Louisiana getaway. Our location on this peaceful street makes it incredibly simple to spend your afternoon exploring the protected landscapes of the Cane River National Heritage Area trails or catching an outdoor live musical performance at the riverfront stage before heading back to relax on our outdoor wicker seating.
