TripAdvisor review of the Queen Anne

Posted: 6/4/2026

We are always completely thrilled when travelers share their adventures at our historic estate! TripAdvisor reviewer M7727MGheatherb from Tyler, Texas, recently posted an incredibly thoughtful 5-bubble review detailing her time exploring our property and the town.

Here is her full experience shared verbatim:

“The Queen Anne Bed and Breakfast was even better than I thought it'd be. The location was great--within close walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants and even closer walking distance to the American Cemetery. I loved that it was located on a quiet street with few cars, too. We were in the Blue room, which was large with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great shower and tub. It was beautiful, too, and as we arrived before any other guests, we were able to see into the other rooms, which were all gorgeously decorated in different ways. My favorite was our room, though, because it was bright and spacious. The room downstairs with the books was extremely impressive, though--my second favorite. Everything I saw was clean and nice. I couldn't believe how good the price was for our experience. Not only was the room so nice, but the breakfast in the morning was beautifully presented and delicious--blueberry bread pudding (I didn't think I liked bread pudding before this, but now I do!), southwest cheese grits, eggs with bearnaise sauce on ham and a biscuit with water, juice, and coffee. So good! The innkeeper was so friendly and helpful, too--we loved meeting her! We would come back here if we're ever in Natchitoches again.” — M7727MGheatherb, TripAdvisor Review (5/5 Stars)

Heather's delightful story perfectly captures what we love about hosting. Nestled on a peaceful, low-traffic street, our inn provides a serene retreat that makes it easy to experience the very best of Natchitoches. After waking up well-rested, you can walk just a few steps to pay your respects at the historic American Cemetery—the oldest cemetery in the Louisiana Purchase—before strolling down to Front Street for an afternoon of exploring the historic aisles at Kaffie-Frederick General Mercantile and enjoying a great dinner right in the heart of our downtown historic district.
